Space Opera Science Fiction Short Story

Praise for the Imperial Hammer series:

I love sci-fi and this story makes me love it even more.

I am in awe of the writing ability and imagination of Cameron Cooper.

Before reading any of this author's work, I would have stated I did not really like science fiction. THAT has changed.

It's full of action from beginning to end.

Brilliant and intricate.

Many memorable characters – but my favorite is Varg.

Twists and turns so you’re never really sure what is going on behind the scenes.

I am so enthralled with the series that I am impatient for the release of the next book.

Cameron somehow describes scenes in ways that make me feel like I am actually present

This story truly does justice to the legacies of the greats, like Orson Scott Card and Frank Herbert.

Edge of your seat action will keep you captivated until the final page!!

Intense insights and a delightful short story. There is NOTHING average about this epic little story despite its name! It's a very welcome addition to the Imperial Hammer series that adds more personality and depth to Danny's character as well as the origin of Varg, Danny's Parawolf. I thoroughly enjoyed the totally immersive experience of Cam Cooper's story telling, it's succinct and yet rich in the details that drew me into Danny's spacer world. There is a lot packed into this short story, with interesting character interactions and an intense adventure crisis too. I would highly recommend this book as part of the Imperial Hammer Series: either after reading book four (upon release) like me, or if you are just starting, then in the correct book series order.

I liked everything in this amazingly jammed packed with action, short story. I love the series and the gal who takes no prisoners. This story has a good guy, who knows how to give our gal the help she needs to overcome the bad guys AND best of all she finds, helps, and bonds to the best creature ever. You want to know why I'm so excited, well get this book now and read all about a past adventure. By the way Cameron, can we get this guy in another book?
