About this ebook

NOW THE NO.1 DRAMA IN THE HISTORY OF AppleTV+, SILO.

An epic story of survival at all odds and one of the most anticipated books of the year, soon to also be a major Apple TV series.

'Thrilling, thought-provoking and memorable ... one of dystopian fiction's masterpieces alongside the likes of 1984 and Brave New World.' DAILY EXPRESS
_____________

In a ruined and hostile landscape, in a future few have been unlucky enough to survive, a community exists in a giant underground silo.

Inside, men and women live an enclosed life full of rules and regulations, of secrets and lies.

To live, you must follow the rules. But some don't. These are the dangerous ones; these are the people who dare to hope and dream, and who infect others with their optimism.

Their punishment is simple and deadly. They are allowed outside.

Jules is one of these people. She may well be the last.

I wish I had heard of this Wool Series sooner, I started to read Wool after I'd watched the TV Series of Silo. I did enjoy the TV Series, but the Book Trilogy, I just couldn't put it down, every spare moment that I managed to find, I would pick it up & get right back into it, I don't think I've read a series of 3 books so quick in Years, I've possibly read it twice considering the amount of times I back tracked to make sure of the story line, Absolutely Fantastic Read........ Brilliant, Thank You, From Brian.....

Unfortunately after reading this, the book I had lined up next was very pale in comparison. This is very well written and engaging. The style keeps you almost perpetually on your toes, and having to put it down and take a break is painful when you want to know what is going to happen next. I was pleased to find out that there are two more books and that this is part of a trilogy.

Excuse the pun above :-) This story is really interesting. At the beginning I was a little frustrated by the highly descriptive writing style but, as the plot progressed and the puzzle unfolded, it became quite riveting. If you can get this for a good price, don't hesitate.

About the author

Hugh Howey spent eight years living on boats and working as a yacht captain for the rich and famous. It wasn't until the love of his life carried him away from these vagabond ways that he began to pursue literary adventures, rather than literal ones.

Hugh wrote and self-published the Wool trilogy, which won rave reviews and praise from readers, and whose three books have gone on to become international bestsellers.
