Because this is set up as a Part One and two-part novel. Emma Wright, the aide to Renee Connors, the wife to an US Ambassador to the Philippines. After an aid mission trip to one of the islands Emma, Renee and Dr Juan Delgado are flying back when their plane runs into trouble and crash-lands. Alpha Crew are sent after the plane to rescue any survivors. Ryan Owen is the leader of Alpha Crew. Laura Griffin, has once again written a very suspense and romance with intriguing and it is a page turner that has a cliffhanger so you want to read the next book.

I loved this book! It was intense from beginning to end. It does end on a cliffhanger though. I received an ARC for an honest review. Emma Wright was just doing her job as personal assistant to the wife of an ambassador. They were flying out on a goodwill mission to deliver vaccines and supplies to remote places in the Philippines. But with a loud pop, Emma’s life changed. The plane crashed in a remote forest. Emma was injured and left to fend for herself in hostile territory. The Alpha Crew, a highly secretive group of SEALs, were sent out on the rescue mission. Ryan Owen was among this group. From the point these men jumped into unknown territory until they found Emma was action-packed. Once they found her, getting Emma to safety was intense. When they get back home, Emma questions the findings the authorities make about the accident. Of course, this puts her life in danger. I loved this book. Emma was perfect. She was so out of her element, but she didn’t just give up. And I loved the Alpha Crew. They knew each other so well, words weren’t even needed. They knew what had to be done, and they just did it. Ryan was so strong and capable. Ms. Griffin knows how to amp the suspense up. And she writes scenes so well, you could almost smell the wet jungle and feel Emma’s terror at being alone in the jungle at night. The emotions were just so real. This book does leave you hanging, but the next book comes out soon and brings Emma and Ryan’s story to an end. I hope the other members of the Alpha Crew get their stories, but please, no more cliffhangers! I highly recommend this book.

I was lucky enough to receive a review copy of this book. Let me tell you, I was VERY lucky because the book was so good! Packed full of action with characters you will fall in love with this book had it all Emma s rescued by a team of elite SEALS after being the lone survivor of a plane crash that went down in the rain forest of a small island in the Philippians, killing her boss, the wife of the ambassador. Her life is put in danger as she works to clear the pilots name when she discovers that the official verdict for the crash was being put down as pilot error. Ryan was a part of the team of SEALS that rescued Emma and is now determined to keep her safe as the danger escalates around her! AS usual Larua Griffin does an excellent job pulling you into the story and leaving you wanting more! Next Please!
