Dirty Ride

Not quite what I was expecting from an MC romance Dirty Ride’s plot line had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I don’t feel it delivered on that potential. Heroine runs away from abusive ex. She falls in insta lust with a bad boy biker. She has to navigate the trappings of life in a new town with a new guy while keeping her a look out for the ex. So many possibilities there especially with an MC involved. I liked Valentina, “Tina” and Ardan or “Irish” as his MC brothers know him. I just felt that their characters weren’t adequately developed. There were extraneous scenes that seemed to serve no purpose in furthering the plot and at times the novella read like a dry diary entry. I picked this one up because I really enjoy a good MC romance. There wasn’t much interaction with the motorcycle club until the very end of the book. The angle on the villain could have been played up so much more than it was. I have to say though that it was the saving grace of the novella. *****Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions*****

I am totally in love with Irish (swoon)! I love a good alpha male and Irish has it all, A biker, drop dead sexy, protective of the ones he loves and 100% pure alpha. Ladies, it doesn't get much better than this! Valentina is on the run from her abusive ex-husband who also just happens to be a dirty cop. Since the police can't help her she has decided to take off and try to run from him. With a histroy of bad luck with men she isn't interested in the advances of the sexy biker she meets one night at a local bar. She is focused on restarting her life. Irish is part of the Wind Dragons MC and is every woman's fantasy. When he meets Valentina in the local club bar he is instantly attracted to the bombshell that is trying to hide under a hoodie. Even though his advances are dismissed Irish isn't about to give up that easily on the beautiful woman. As these two grow closer, Valentina can't help but feel that maybe things are starting to look up for her, that is until her ex-husband shows back up. Now it is up to Irish to save the woman he loves and no one is going to get in his way! I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher for my honest review and opinion. Another excellent book by a talented author. Cant wait for the next one in the series.
