About this ebook

With the Stanley Cup playoffs looming, Chloe and rugged defenseman Art concoct a fake dating scheme to divert attention from her haunting past, but as their staged romance skates too close to real feelings, they must decide if they’re playing for a shot at love or just another strategic game on ice.

Chloe Turner has always been good at one thing: staying under the radar. But when her terrifying past finds her again, complete with chilling bouquets and unwanted advances, she's thrust into the spotlight—a place she’s desperately avoided.

With nowhere to turn, she concocts a daring plan: fake dating Art Jackman, the Newport Beach Seagulls' formidable defenseman, hoping the publicity will shield her from danger.

Art Jackman is not a man who believes in the illusions of fame or love. His life revolves around hockey, toughness, and occasional solitary nights. He’s perfectly content keeping to himself... until Chloe, with her quiet strength and hidden scars, enters his life. Drawn to her resilience yet protective over her troubled past, Art agrees to the ruse, telling himself it’s only to protect her.

But as their charade wends through public dates and private moments, the line between pretend and reality blurs. With the playoffs looming and Chloe’s past dangerously close, their fake relationship starts feeling painfully real.

Caught between the heart's plays and the game’s demands, Chloe and Art must decide if they’re willing to drop their guards and trust in the love that’s taken them by surprise.

Will their staged romance lead to a real victory, or will the shadows from Chloe's past end their shot at a future?

Trainwrecks & Back Checks is a fake dating hockey romance that readers won’t be able to put down!

Whoever was the editor of this book should be fired! I liked the story, but all the errors ruined it. I wouldn't mind if it was free, but handing over money for something so sloppy bites. I'm really disappointed.
