Stubbornly, I trudged through this melodramatic tale encompassing a privileged and ignorant main character. I often questioned the authors intelligence as she dove deeper into her controlling and unhealthy friendship with the protagonist, ignoring "red flags" and blindly believing whatever wild story was fed to her. The book itself was poorly written, scenes seemed chopped and carelessly laid out for the reader.

About the author
A native of Bremerton, Washington, Meili Cady starred as the lead actress in the Showtime comedy film Chick Magnet, and has appeared on Californication and other television shows. After a brief stint in a federal prison camp, Meili began the blog House Arrest Girl while she served a year of home confinement. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
