Padi is eager to make up for time lost due to Korval's unpleasantness with the Department of the Interior. She is also keeping a secret so intense that her coming of age, and perhaps her very life, is threatened by it.

I only wish these authors could write as fast as I devour their work! Alliance of Equals is exciting, fun, fanciful, and now almost my new favorite Liaden Universe adventure. Very believable characters, several story lines going at once, magic as a natural condition....loved it all. Thanks to both authors. MORE please!!!

Fantastic read, this book is about Shan and his family, adjusting to their new situation and dealing with the political fallout from the fight with the Department of the Interior. Can't wait for the next book!! 😄
