Sweet romance about overcoming challenges Trent and Whitney's storybook romance hits a huge snag when she discovers something about herself that she believes ruins her chances of a HEA with Trent. Trent knows something is causing her to stall their wedding plans, but he doesn't know how to get her to talk to him about it. This story is told in alternating POV and covers both their relationship history - from the beginning - with details of their current struggles interspersed. Chapter headings help you keep track of whether you're reading about "then" or "now" until eventually their history catches up to the present. There's also a secret from Trent's past that seemingly came out of nowhere, but it did add a much-needed jolt of perspective and somewhat resolved one of the issues Whitney was concerned about. I loved the ongoing camaraderie with Whitney's BFFs and their guys from the earlier books, and I loved the way their HEA was extraordinarily inclusive. It's a terrific story from start to finish, and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves contemporary romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

A Lot Like Forever certainly has all the feels, it’s emotional, it’s angsty and it’s full of love…… Whitney is struggling, working on how to handle her illness while dealing with her friendships and her work load. Trent has been asking her to set a date for their wedding because he wants to take their seven year relationship one step further but as she makes excuse he starts to feel like this is a one side relationship and he doesn’t know what to do to make it right….. All the feels

My first read in this series. Whitney needed some work, a workaholic, who was ill and in a long term commitment, but not honest with anyone around her. The story had promise, but missed the mark, for me. Ok read.
