Daniella loves her job and her co-workers, but she craves her boss. If only she had the courage to act on it. Gregori Novak craves her too and as his fated mate, it is hard to resist her. Gregori and many others at the company are vampires but Daniella is human. Would she accept him or run in horror? He’ll soon find out when she becomes a target in the vampire war. This book is a good series starter. I finished it in one day. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

This is a very good PNR romance with defined MCs. The entertaining and engaging book has drama and is well-written. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I currently only read part one but I cannot put it down. Wow the intensity, the love, the found family dynamic. It has so much and and care even through the despair and destruction of life and greed. The setting is present day New York, New York. It is very well described and detailed. Each character’s characteristics and personality is detailed to the point of feeling like you know them for real. I love Melissa’s writing style. It is so easy to read and the words just flow.
