About the author
Alice Pung (*1981) lebt als Anwältin und Schriftstellerin in Melbourne, engagiert sich an Schulen und hält zahlreiche Vorträge an Universitäten in aller Welt. "Ungeschliffener Diamant" ist ihr erster Roman, er erschien 2006, stand auf zahlreichen Shortlists und wurde 2007 als bestes australisches Debüt ausgezeichnet.
