Very interesting. Not his usual genre, and not a good example when comparing with Conquerer series which is outstanding. BUT is refreshing because of this and just as well written. To first time readers please read other titles to gain an overall appreciation of such a superb author.

Read this book in a couple of hours. Enjoyed the change to his historical novels. Well worth reading.
