Wings: Colony: Nyx #5 (Intergalactic Dating Agency)

This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a funny, science fiction, fast-paced tale. I enjoyed Kalina’s ambition and determination. I enjoyed Wings’ more laidback approach to the world. I enjoyed their intimate moments and was amused at the interactions between the two of them as well as other characters. I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Wings a gargoyle gets a call from an old friend about a job and meets with him and starts workkng as a bartende for one of the worxt bars on the planet but his friend is planning for more. Kalina hits the bar and the alien bartender is pretty sexy not sure what she is looking for but what happens next shocks them both before she could finish her meal. Which makes for an interesting time for her and Wings the sexy bartender. But her troubles continue. I read a copy, I volunteered a review.

This is the 5th book telling the story of “fated mates” (the one person in the universe whose soul entangles perfectly with your own). This one’s the story of Kamen, AKA Wings, a gargoyle and new bartender at the One Shot Cantina, and Kalina, an unemployed human from Star Farm, from the time they don’t know each other to the final, wild, all-night orgiastic culmination of their relationship, after which they decide they want to be together to enjoy each other forever.
