About this ebook

Terrifying earthquakes are only the prelude to an earth-shattering eruption in this disaster thriller by the acclaimed author of Powerless.

At Yellowstone National Park, earthquake tremors are common. But today, park scientist Tucker Mayfield detects something different: a disturbing new increase in activity and intensity. Lurking beneath the park, earth's largest supervolcano is beginning to awaken . . .

Racing against time, Mayfield mobilizes a team to evacuate all visitors from the park—including his family at the Old Faithful Inn. But when the earthquakes intensify, and the death toll rises, a shockwave of panic spreads across the nation. Troops are deployed and emergency plans are activated. But nothing can stop a natural disaster of this magnitude. When the volcano erupts, doomsday begins—and no one gets out alive . . .

The misogyny is dripping from every page. Lazy, amateurish and repetitive writing, with terrible pacing and a structure that made me not want to finish it at all.

So the completely ignorant moron who wrote about this book being "to progressive, don't preach" is well...a complete moron. I believe he literally read the first chapter, saw that it only had 1 white person and the rest of color and then freaked about about "progressivism". The next 2 chapters are about 2 dude having locker room talk about their wives and people joking about sex on the balcony. this book is a melting pot(no pun intended) of all views. so far it is a great book and I believe I will love to continue reading it. Don't judge a book by its cover or like some idiotic trump lovers, the first 3 pages of a book.
