She practiced law in Los Angeles and taught writing at the University of California Santa Barbara. She's a former collegiate cross-country runner and a three time Jeopardy! champion. Burning mind published 2014, borrowed this book from the library. Its an awesome read one of those books that you can't put down till the ending. I thought at first that the burning mind was a follow on but meg Gardiner must have changed the title of this novel, so beware dont purchase both books as they are the same. Enjoy
