As a stand-alone story, this is too incomplete to amount to much, BUT as a prologue (it's stated purpose) the author has hit the nail on the head. This haunting tale is one of the most compelling promises of "more to come" I've read in the self-published field ever. Were I editor, I'd recommend excising the fluff before the exhibition and using it as a "trailer" for the book to come. It would be breathtaking, forcing the reader to turn the next page. Warren is a writer of excellent promise.

It sure is a good read, but it ended abruptly, not even a promise. She didn't even finish art school. But you don't need to read this book; you may read Survival of the richest instead.

Elder C Charles
First time romantic novel reading by this particular author, Skye Warren which is centered around its main characters Harper, artist and soon to be billionairessand Christopher, former stepbrother and now, executor of her trust fund. Can you trust your heart when you're broke yet, even worse when you become rich ? Will men desire Harper desire or what money will give them? I can't wait to read the entire series. Highly recommend reading!
