About the author

Karla Potter not only writes fiction fantasy novels but loves nature and does some of her best writing sitting on a stump in the woods out on her 5 ½ areas, which is only 20 miles from the base of Mount Rainier. Out there her imagination is fed daily by the wild animals and woods about her home. She enjoys walking on the beach, hiking in the woods, and traveling. She loves kids and animals. Since her daughter grew up and moved away she has 16 out of the 27 dogs to fill the house with the pitty patter of little feet.
