With family secrets hidden for years, this book was riveting and a model for good romantic suspense. Madison has to discover the truth about her own parentage as well as find a murderer before she herself comes to harm. The action is fast paced and non stop with plenty of clues as well as red herrings. The characters were believable and mostly likable. And the spark of romance between the two rangers was a welcome addition to the edge of your seat suspense. All opinions expressed are my own.
