About the author

Lorraine Eaton, Staff Epicure at the Virginian-Pilot, is an award winning journalist and food writer whose work has appeared in many publications, including Best Food Writing 2012. Her cookbook, Tidewater Table, published in 2013, is a compilation of her culinary adventures in the low-country of Virginia. Jim Haag is  the features editor at the Virginian-Pilot, where he finds himself fortunate to be Lorraine Eaton’s editor. Together, they enjoy the culinary playground of the commonwealth.
