Where do I possibly begin? I have waited for this story, not so patiently, for what feels like forever. The agony I was in waiting for the release, was worth every moment. I was glued to my kindle from the very first page and didn’t want to stop reading for anything. I was on a jaw dropping, heart fluttering, nail biting ride, and I didn’t want it to stop. Warren paints a picture where I feel like I am there fighting to survive right along with the characters. No one can write like she does, and I hope she never stops. She easily maintains her spot as my favorite author, and I don’t say that lightly. If you have read any of the Montana Rescue series you have no choice but to be as anxious to read Wait For Me as I was. I’m guessing if you are reading this review, that you haven’t. This story would be a great stand alone, but I completely recommend you get the entire series. If you are a book lover like me you won’t regret one second of it . The PEAK Rescue team is amazing and I loved getting to know all of them. I am actually really sad to see them go, knowing this is the last book in the series is bittersweet. I am so thankful I was along for the ride, and can easily see myself reading this series again someday soon. I wish there were more than five stars, I can’t recommend it more. This is a great book for anyone who is ready for an adventure. I had no way of imagining the out of nowhere twists and turns that took my breath away. My heart was racing and I couldn’t read fast enough. The timer on my kindle was also torture letting me know I only had so much time left before the book was over. Pete and Jess were worth the wait. I was blessed to receive a complimentary copy of this book from Revell and Netgalley and was in no way forced to post a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is book six in the Montana Rescue Series, however it is somewhat of a stand alone book. You do miss lots of history not only in the characters but even some of the plot, plus all the books are well written and good books. They all focus around a PEAK rescue team and I fell in love with the entire team. I have not read all the books in this series and had no trouble keeping up, I have read about half of them though, so I knew a lot of the history from those. I do wish I would have read them all and may go back and do just that. This book will focus mainly on Jess and Pete. There is suspense, Drama, action, mystery, twist and turns, surprises, forgiveness and romance.

Wait For Me is the sixth and final book to the Montana Rescue Series. If you are a follower of Susan's books, you know that this series started out with Wild Montana Skies. In the first book we are introduced to the search and rescue, PEAK team members. Throughout the following books, one team member is featured in the story with the rest being a supporting cast. This was a much awaited ending to a great series. Pete Brooks and Jess Tagg, I believe were a favorite of many. We all were pulling for them, and to finally have there own book, what a delight. Susan has written a wonderful tribute to the EMT's, Firemen, Smoke Jumpers, Police, and Search and Rescue Teams. She has done a great job, even though it is a fictional story, of giving us just a glimpse of what they face every time they go out. They are our true heroes. Her books are full of drama, suspense, romance and a thread of faith and hope woven within each story. If you are a Susan May Warren reader, you must get this book. I was given a copy of this book by Revell Publishers through LibraryThing Early Reviewers. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.
