Everything I hope for in a novel .. and a little bit more! Marissa and Martin Bishop have, to outsiders, a perfect life with a beautiful home and a much-loved son. Only Marissa knows that she cheated but she can’t keep it from Martin and seeks help from therapist Avery Chambers whose process is not of the usual variety. Avery picks and chooses her clients carefully; since losing her license she can employ more of a maverick approach. Accepting the Bishops as her clients gives Marissa hope that their marriage will soon be back on track but even while ‘baring all’, there are secrets being kept . . . I first came across these authors when I read their first novel, The Wife Between Us, and was completely bowled over by it so was just a tad excited to have their new one on my list. I’m not a duplicitous person, valuing integrity and honesty but my first thought – and I don’t think I’ll be alone in this – was why did she tell her husband? However, she did and that brings the opportunity of introducing the therapist, Avery Chambers into the equation and we have to wait some time to find out exactly what all ten steps of her ‘fix’ are. Very cleverly written, this book has several very likeable characters and a few I wasn’t sure about! Secrets are hidden all the way through and when they come out, it’s all rather explosive. Absolutely gripping, this is such a thrilling read and one I’m very happy to recommend. The Golden Couple easily earns a full house of sparkling stars.

Greer Hendricks spent two decades as an editor. Prior to her tenure in book publishing, she earned her masters in journalism from Columbia University. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, Allure and Publishers Weekly. Greer lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
Sarah Pekkanen is the internationally and USA Today bestselling author of eight solo novels. A former investigative journalist and feature writer, she has published her work in the Washington Post, USA Today, and many other publications. She is the mother of three sons and lives just outside Washington, D.C.
Together, they have written the New York Times bestselling novels The Wife Between Us, An Anonymous Girl and You Are Not Alone. The Golden Couple is their fourth novel.
