This interesting baby book contains a 13 stanza poem that talks about how Mr. Sun was feeling lonely and was saddened by his loneliness. He feels all alone up above the sky and was reluctant to shine brightly. The sun was all alone and gloomy before Mr. Cloud came as a friend to ask why he was down. The Sun told the cloud of his plight, he lacks companionship up above the sky, he envies other elements such as the moon, the stars, the rain, and even the cloud himself enjoys the company of many friends. Never the less, Mr. Cloud told Mr. Sun of his unrivalled importance and recognition throughout the universe. And this makes Mr. Sun has multiple friends but he is not aware of this because he is placed above them up in the sky. Many people enjoy the company of the sun that they often wait eagerly to see him shine bright. Without the sun, the world will be a dark and gloomy place not only for people but also for plants on the field, animals in the forest, fishes in the oceans and birds in the air. After this thoughtful conversation with Mr. Cloud, Mr. Sun come to the realization that a lot of people depend on him for happiness and survival. And that he has multitude of friends who wish to come up to him in the sky and tell him how much they love him.

Amazing book with great storytelling, illustrations and heartwarming ending. Enjoyed every bit of it with both my sons. Highly recommend. Let the 🌞 shine!

Helena Mama is a poetess and mother of two beautiful children (a 5-year-old, 8 -year-old).
She's books is not only fun to read but also contain necessary tips and lessons needed for children at early stage. Helena talks about friendship, having a good approach to life, feeling good about oneself, not looking down on oneself, importance of good company, good self-esteem and other facts of life that help children when they are growing up.
More often than not, her children influence her new story ideas and inspire her to be creative.
