About the author

Born in 1980 in the city of Pune, Anand Shinde is a Cyber Security expert on a mission to build a safer cyber world by creating awareness and helping people safeguard themselves against any cyber threats. Growing up, he was fascinated with technology and this interest led to some early exposure to reading since he was drawn to Computers. Before donning the writer’s hat, Mr. Shinde worked with some of the biggest multinational companies in the world. Along with a hands-on experience of several leading technologies such as Endpoint Security, Identity and Access Management, Mobile Security, Application Security, Data Loss Prevention and Encryption, Mr. Shinde has also earned several technological certifications and awards. When not sitting at his favourite coffee shop and writing, Mr. Shinde can be found spending most of his time riding a motorcycle. He has proudly explored the lengths and depths of India on his motorcycle. His urge to foray into unexplored territories – both physical and virtual – has helped him gain invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge of various Cyber Security technologies.
