About this ebook

She's gone viral for all the wrong reasons. He's about to lose his soccer career if he can't work a miracle. Desperate times call for desperate measures, like "I Do."

Ophelia Finnegan is an accountant by day, a wanna-be novelist by night, and an all-around lover of all things romantic-comedy, especially of the British variety. When her grand romantic gesture makes her the laughingstock of the internet, she's pretty sure she'll never get to live out her romantic dreams.

Xavier Henry just wants to play soccer. Banished from his home in England, Xavier's carved out a career for himself here in the States. But his management is determined to bench him, so he needs an immediate trade. The only way to do that is to become an American citizen—fast.

When their paths cross on social media, Ophelia and Xavier realize they might be the solution to each other's problems. After all marriage of convenience is Ophelia's favorite romantic trope. As long as they can stick to the rules, including the most important: don't fall in love.

Sweet & Swoony I just devoured XOXO, the first book in the Boston Buzzards series by Katheryn Beil, and I'm still grinning from ear to ear! This book is a delightful, feel-good romance that will capture your heart and leave you feeling uplifted. The Characters are so well-crafted and relatable, I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning. The Banter is witty and engaging, the Chemistry is electric, and the emotional connection is deep and abiding. Katheryn Beil's writing is warm and inviting, with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of the human heart. The Characters growth is remarkable. What I loved most about this book was its thoughtful exploration of themes that are both personal and universal. Beil tackles issues of identity, community, and the power of love with a deft hand, crafting a narrative that feels authentic and real. The romance is sweet and swoony, with a slow burn that will leave you begging for more. And that ending? Absolutely perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend XOXO to anyone looking for a heartwarming, humorous romance that will capture their heart and imagination. Katheryn Beil is a talented storyteller, and this book is a true gem..Definitely Your Next 5⭐ Read..

About the author

Never one to be accused of being a shrinking violet, I use humor, often inappropriate, to deal with real life. Filled with the inability to sit still and blessed with the ability to multi-task, when I'm not writing, I'm working as a pediatric physical therapist. I can also be found dancing, knitting, watching Marvel movies, and doing absolutely anything to avoid cleaning my house. Through my stories of resilient women, let me help you find your funny.
