Samantha Young let me count the ways I love thee. You write amazing stories that entertain, inspire, and educate as well. You're super sweet and generous to your readers and fans. Most of all you write characters I can not only relate to but connect with. I never fail to laugh and sometimes cry when I read your books. I truly go on a journey as I fall in love with the characters and see them grow as people. That being said, I would love to read your On Dublin Street Series in perpetuity, but Moonlight on Nightingale Way is a fabulous way to close the last full length book in this series. I absolutely loved Grace and Logan. Grace may seem staid and mild mannered, but she has an extremely strong inner core that she wasn't afraid to call on, something I really admired. She was able to look past what a lot people weren't able to and see Logan for he was, and not his actions. I loved how she opened up her heart and home when Logan needed help. She stepped up to do whatever she could to help ease him into his new situation. Logan straight up made me swoon. He's a hard man from his past and he's making up for it. He comes across as rude and abrasive, especially since his activities are keeping Grace up at night and disturbing her hard found peace. Even though he came across as difficult, Logan showed a personality that was truer to him being a "good" guy, and that made me fall for him harder and quicker. Logan was there for his family and friends and that made heart skip a beat. Honestly there isn't much I can say that'll do justice to this book. I was hooked from the first page to the last. There were times my heart hurt while reading this book, from things both Grace and Logan's pasts. The two might have seemed like an unlikely couple, but they really worked well together. I loved seeing them get past their outer appearances and recognize how much the other truly completed them. I also loved seeing Logan interact with his sister, her fiance, and their new extended family. If there's one message this book and this series has really conveyed throughout, it's that the family we're born into isn't always the one we need. Family is those people who love and care of us. Sometimes the people we choose to be our family can love and care more of us than those with the same biological genes. Logan and Grace's story was beautiful. They faced a number of challenges and came out stronger at the end. It was everything I was hoping it would be. This is now one of my most favorite couples from one of my all time favorite series. I can't wait to see how Samantha Young surprises me with the stories she'll write. I know I'm eager to read them!
