Very interesting! Gripping beginning with a twist for Angela's character. The middle seemed to dwindle, however, drawing out the emotional conflicts more than necessary and eventually getting frustrating. But after pushing through a bit, the conclusion was incredibly satisfying and all the loose ends were tied off wonderfully.

This was for sure an epic read, worthy of being made into a movie! I couldn't put the book down. Without giving too much away I would like say that the two main characters were a little out of the ordinary, which made the story so much more intense. I adored them both and, after surviving all their difficulties and heartache, am so glad they found their happy ever after.

Very good read, very captivating. Cried deeply through out as well as laughed out loud on several occasions.

About the author

Lorraine Heath always dreamed of being a writer. After graduating from the University of Texas, she wrote training manuals, press releases, articles, and computer code, but something was always missing. When she read a romance novel, she not only became hooked on the genre, but quickly realized what her writing lacked: rebels, scoundrels, and rogues. She’s been writing about them ever since. Her novels have been recognized with numerous industry awards and have appeared on the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists.
