The combative nature of human has aided him in dominating the past along with the many peaceful years that mankind presently lives in. Not many years back history of military had a specific meaning. It was purely a subject of discussion and learning about tactics, battles, operations of the forces, campaigns and weapons.
It is the history of fighting where weapons and equipment, battle behaviour, military organisation, movement, logistics, mentality, tactical training and strategic planning are involved.
