This book utterly slayed me as it stole my heart. Natale and Posy's seizes hold with a fierce grip that digs in deep and refuses to let go. Natale's intensity is the perfect foil and shelter for the battle worn Posy and I absolutely adored witnessing her growth and healing in the light of his care and protection. A truly heart melting, intoxicatingly swoon worthy romance.

Natale was taught at a young age women are gifts and should be treated that way. He protects those he loves no matter what. Posy has endured so much pain that it stole her voice. No one ever helped her until Natale. The love, understanding and healing these two shared was wonderful to read. The storyline flowed smoothly, was well written and you could feel everything Natale and Posy experienced. I love the HEA ending and can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Oh. My. Days!! This book consumed me from the first page! This is the first book of a new series by KL Donn and man, did it take my breath away! Natale, Lord where do I start?!! The moment he lays eyes on Posy he knows she is going to change his world. After that first scene, woe betide anybody who thinks they can mistreat her in any way. Natale becomes her safe haven, her avenging angel. My heart!! Absolute magic! My emotions are shot to pieces!!
