My god, what a book!! Ive read most major fantasies and science fiction series out there, and one of the major problems is when an author tries to be more literary that they actually are, or if that literary element rarely appears. Great stories without the magical prose ha e less of a shine, and this shines like a supernova. There's a balance, you see, that only the best achieve. And some go just slightly beyond, with prose and style that doesn't insult, but leads to wonder, and appreciation, where everything is a painting, and you live the characters and qhere the story is. Rooted deep, yet without Robert Jordans incessant desire to detail every article of clothing over three pages. This book was amazing, a wonderful exploration of an incredibly vivid reality, and I enjoyed every minute. It's one of my favorite recent reads, and up there conversing with my all-time favorites.
