About this ebook

Kurt and Lucy were high school sweethearts who were married right out of high school. Their love seemed perfect, but Lucy couldn’t deal with the amount of time that Kurt spent traveling and working. One evening after returning from a business trip, he comes home to an empty house and a note telling him she’s leaving him and their marriage is over. She stays in their hometown with all their friends and family while he quickly leaves for the city.

Now it’s 6 years later and Kurt is desperate to make the divorce official before a big business deal goes through so that he doesn’t have to share any of it with her. Now she’s back in town to sign the papers, but instead he ends up falling for her all over again. Will he push for her signature to have more money or will he give love a second chance?

Female protagonist isn't as mature as she thinks. Indecisive and borderline selfish. In terms of the relationship, that is. As an individual, she's okay. The fact that a lot of people were supporting her and making the man the bad guy isn't a good thing in my opinion. As much as the marriage failed because of the guy, what she's doing is wrong.

though the story would be nice, there is no substance to it. you do not really get to feel how any of the characters feel because despite the many, many words used, they don't go deep enough to actually make you dive into the story. sorry...for me, it was a poor writing, characters poorly build, no emotions actually come through.

I found the dialogue quite childish and her reasons for not signing the divorce papers ridiculous
