Reiner F. Hornig erblickte Anfang der 50er Jahre in einer Kleinstadt im Hochschwarzwald das Licht der Welt. Schon früh begannen die dunklen Tannenwälder seine Persönlichkeit zu prägen und weckten in ihm ein Faible für alles Düstere und Geheimnisvolle. Nicht nur in Deutschland machte er sich rasch einen Namen durch zahlreiche Kurzkrimis. Anfang 2021 erschien sein erster SF Roman WÄCHTER DER ZUKUNFT. Ein weiterer Roman für die Edgar Wallace Reihe befindet sich in Arbeit.
