Nick & Kelsea: Book 2 of Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team: Check the author’s suggested reading order. The Moonshine Task Force is considered the first gen & this series is the second gen (they are interconnected) Laramie Briscoe did such a great job building this world & interconnecting all of these amazing characters. Her writing style sucks you in keeps you engaged. Very addicting series that I love to come back to. Nick & Kelsea’s story is heartbreaking & beautiful. Loved this addition

This was a great book. Meeting up at a wedding, Nick and Kelsea have a one night stand that amazing for both of them, then trouble hits. Very well done, Nick and Kelsea have a untraditional and unique connection that reveals a stunning chemistry. This dynamic plus the team spirit help to make this a story not to be missed. The plot was simple yet filled with romance and a suspenseful storyline. Very well done!!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Suppression is Book 2 of the Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team (LSERT) series. It's an emotional roller-coaster, so buckle up. I didn't realize I had read this one before, but it was worth the re-read. It's a steamy, friends-to-lovers romance. Nick is a hunk who suffered abuse growing up and has feelings of being worthless and unworthy of love. Kelsea has been his best friend and keeps trying to show him he is worthy of love. Can she convince him? There are so many emotions in this book. We do get steam and hot chemistry but so much angst. I felt so bad for Kelsea at times, but I am glad she didn't give up on her man. We do get a happy ending that is worth it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
