Will James & Michael find who kidnapped Charlotte in time Simone is one of my top 10 authors and I am loving the continued series of Charlotte. The book starts with Michael and James trying to determine who kidnapped Charlotte and if Klempner is involved somehow. With Charlotte as resourceful as ever, the plan is hatched to rescue Charlotte. So many twists to keep you turning the pages until the last one. Here’s to Hostage being out soon after the cliffhanger.

All I can say is Ransom was awesome reading, and intensely satisfying. This author does such a fantastic job building her characters, shaping them to grow and develop as people. They are not just flat-stamped roles or parts. I just loved seeing that growth in Ransom, especially in James, Michael, Mitch—and, yes, former baddie Klempner too. The suspense and tension over Charlotte’s abduction are mounting incredibly—it’s truly nail-biting! Even though this installment ends on a cliffhanger, it is beyond doubt my favorite of Simone’s yet! 5-stars. Sounds cliché, but I wish there were more stars I could give. Hope she hurries with the next episode!

Ransom is the second book in The Master's Child series. This story continues where Target left off with Charlotte being kidnapped from the hospital. Will she be rescued in time or will she and her child be at risk?
