Fighting Happily Ever After by Elena Aitken, book four in her Ever After series, is an amazing story featuring Faith and Logan. Logan Langdon has wanted Faith Turner forever and is determined to make her his. Despite co-owning the most desired wedding venue, Faith does not believe in love. No one knows what happened to make her believe this way or change her mind; not even her twin sister’s happily ever after. Faith might see how sexy Logan is and how her entire body alights with one look, but she also sees the over confident and cocky side of him. Faith need Logan to back off and the only solution Faith can come up with is a bet. The stakes are pretty high. If Faith can convince her celebrity client that she and Logan are a super, lovey-dovey couple, then not only will she succeed in getting the biggest contract of her career, but she will win and Logan will have to leave her alone. Faith might not believe in love but boy can she fake it. Logan cannot afford to lose the bet, as it would mean losing Faith. Faith might put up a fight, but the chemistry and magnetism between them is off the charts, driving her crazy; making it difficult not to succumb to Logan’s charms. Despite Logan’s best efforts Faith is stubborn, has closed off her heart, and determined to walk away from the best thing to ever happen to her; even her own happily ever after. Dynamics do change a bit when Faith’s twin sister Hope and her husband Levi, Logan’s cousin, return home. Ms. Aitken wrote a wonderful and amazing story, filled with sizzling chemistry, fun interactions, a little surprise, and charming secondary characters that is not to be missed. I totally enjoyed and highly recommend Fighting Happily Ever After to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

We are back in Glacier Falls and Ever After Ranch, where weddings and dreams come true. If you’ve read the previous stories, and I highly recommend it so you can get the full experience of this series, you have met Faith Turner and Logan Langdon. These two have known each other since they were kids, and have been bickering ever since. When Faith’s sister, Hope, asks Faith to help with her wedding venue while she travels with her new husband , she doesn’t hesitate but is left with Logan as her helper. But the truth is, are they really “enemies” or is that just a way to hide feelings that they might have for each other. With the possibility of a celebrity wedding in their location , Logan and Faith pretend to be in love since the prospective bride makes that incorrect assumption and it’s one of the reasons she’s chosen the ranch. A dangerous scenario for both of them. But the real question is, why is Faith against marriage? Why does Logan tease her to no end? And let’s not forget the bride to be, and what happens when she falls in love with the town and the people of Ever After Ranch. Will the truth come out? Another entertaining and touching story in this series. Though not a cliffhanger, we are left to wonder what’ going to happen next and who will we get a chance to spend time with in the next book. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

We return to Glacier Falls and get to see why Logan and Faith are pretending to be in a relationship, in hopes that Stephanie Starz will have the wedding of the century at Ever After Ranch. I just love this series! In this story, secrets are revealed and we get a better understanding of why Faith is so jaded about happily ever afters. I won’t leave any spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. You won’t be disappointed, if you love reading about family, friends, steamy scenes, and unexpected revelations. I loved the ending and I’m patiently waiting for the next book to see what happens next. Yes, this book can be read as a standalone story, but you really should read all the books for the entire Ever After Ranch experience. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
