Sweet Sinner

SWEET SINNER is the fifth instalment in Lisa Renee Jones’ contemporary, adult THE NECKLACE SERIES, and the second in Tyler and Bella’s erotic, romantic suspense trilogy. SWEET SINNER is the continuing story of attorneys thirty-four year old Tyler Hawk, and twenty-seven year old Bella Bailey. The fast paced, character driven premise is intriguing and gripping but most of the story focuses on the dance of desperation between Bella and Tyler; the romance is seductive; the characters are frantic.

Nothing was simple between Tyler and Bella, and that’s what kept me reading. Bella frustrated me in this book, and I can’t say why without spoiling. I loved Dash’s brotherly love for Bella; he was the voice of reason for Bella along with her father. I did feel like Tyler and Bella’s conversations went in circles until a certain point, then I smiled when I reached that satisfying turning point. I appreciated Tyler’s journey through these books. I eagerly await the conclusion to Tyler and Bella!

I absolutely LOVED this story! It’s pretty evident that Bella has strong feelings towards Tyler and she needs more than what he’s offering. He had to really work at winning her over. There was a time or two I thought for sure he was going to lose his ever loving mind at the situation. It’s been a while since I’ve read a story with this type of angst and I was gobbling every word of it as fast as I could.
