It's the beginning of another term at the Academy, and it feels like Fiona and her guys are starting to settle in to their relationship. Of course, there's also a new mystery complete with a ghostly voice warning of trouble, a new power for Fiona, and the return of some characters who may or may not be trouble. The romance is kind of on a back burner in this one as the characters settle in and we get some refreshers on who's who here and there throughout the story. The author gives us that info organically as things progress, so if you've read every installment to this point, it's not repetitive, and if you're new, it's enough information to enjoy the story without being completely lost. A lot has happened to get here, so I'd still recommend reading from the beginning - that way, you get to meet and fall in love with the characters as they grow and develop. All in all, this 26th book in the serial is a solid start to the new year.
