About this ebook

When Todd Harris makes the move from the mean streets of Chicago to the sleepy roads of Marietta, Montana, it’s not just his career that’s changing… it’s his entire life. Going from police officer to forest ranger isn’t too much of a stretch, but getting used to how things work in a small town is. As he settles in, Todd realizes he loves the slower pace of the countryside, but then… an Olympic gold medalist comes to town and shatters his hard fought peace.

But the town’s new forest ranger doesn’t like attention and he sure as hell isn’t looking for any kind of relationship with someone who does. When Molly gets lost in the woods though and Todd is the one who saves her, the spark he’s been trying to ignore smolders and ignites. It's then that he realizes there’s a lot more to Molly than ambition and public adulation.

When Todd signs up for the Men of Marietta calendar shoot to raise money for Harry's House, a place for children to commemorate a fallen firefighter, Molly realizes the kind of man he is. With the shoot wrapping up, she faces a painful decision–return to her old life, or give her new life with Todd a fighting chance.

Yet another great story in this series. Molly is an olympic athlete who has fallen from grace. Todd is a forest ranger who moved to Montana to get away from being a cop in Chicago. They were both such wonderful and flawed characters. Todd has trust issues, Molly has a lot of issues and is hiding out. My favorite character may have been Bug, Todd's dog. I loved reading about Bug's antics. I loved how much the characters grew and learned about each other and themselves throughout the story.

Falling for the Ranger (Men of Marietta Book 5) by Kaylie Newell This is Ranger Todd Harris and Olympic gold medalist Molly Cordero's story. Molly is hiding out in Marietta trying to decide what she wants to do with her life. Todd loves the slower pace of life in Marietta. He is divorced and lives with the scars from it. Todd and Molly butt heads when they first meet. Things begin to change after Todd rescues her after getting lost on a hike. I loved the banter between Todd and Molly. Will they allow the hurts in their past to prevent them from taking a chance at love? Will Molly be willing to stay in Marietta? This is a sweet and sensual romance. I enjoyed their story. FYI, contains mature content.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Loved this story of two lost souls both with heartbreak in their lives. Todd, is a forest ranger from Chicago. where he was a police officer looking for a better life with his wife to raise their family. His wife decided this was not the place for her though. Molly, an ex Olympic diver, who has decided this was not the life for her, visits her cousin in Marietta to figure out what she wants in life. While Molly is hiking she meets up with Todd and his dog, Bug. They are opposites but soon find there is a mutual attraction between the two. The only problem, Molly is only there for a short time. Loved this installment in the Men of Marietta. Great banter between Molly and Todd. Oh, and Bug, of so cute. Plenty of twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages. This is my first book by Kaylie, and will not be my last, love her story telling.
