About the author

Abdul Latip Talib, penulis kelahiran Negeri Sembilan ini sedang mengukir nama di persada sastera tanah air. Dilahirkan di Kg. Ulu Seperi, Rembau, Negeri Sembilan pada 2 Jun 1954 mula menceburkan diri dalam bidang penulisan pada tahun 1990 dalam pelbagai genre;skrip drama tv, cerpen, puisi, dan novel.

Sejak itu karyanya banyak meraih hadiah seperti Sayembara Cerpen Berunsur Islam, Hadiah Sastera Utusan, Sayembara Cerpen Perpaduan, dan Anugerah Sastera Negeri Sembilan. Novel Randau Ruai memenangi hadiah pertama Peraduan Menulis Sastera dan Budaya Sarawak manakala novel remaja Beraraklah Awan Pilu memenangi Hadiah Sastera Utusan 2005.

Penulis ini telah menghasilkan novel pahlawan Islam Salahudin Ayubi, Khalid Walid, Ikramah Abu Jahal, dan Tariq Ziyad. Kesemuanya diterbitkan oleh PTS.
