Cruz has found his potential fated mate in Dara but that doesn’t mean love at first sight. The pack heir and death witch were not the likely couple, but wow, the chemistry between them is sizzling. Their journey had me on the edge of seat as secrets are revealed and Dara must look further from the den to find help against their enemies. Nothing is better than watching Cruz finally giving into his bond with Dara once he sees her for the amazing witch she is. Carrie Ann Ryan never disappoints!!

This is book 4 in the Aspen Pack series and it features Cruz, Heir to the Aspen Pack and Dara, Harvester Death Witch in the Aspen Pack. We’ve waited and finally we get to see how Cruz’s and Dara’s story turn out. Their “mates but not mates” chemistry was UNBELIEVABLY sexy! There was a lot happening but these two were at the forefront of it all this time. My emotions were all over the place throughout the nook. I was angry, sad, surprised, happy, suspicious, and even more shocked!

It's So hard to find beauty and love in the middle of a war that's taken so much. Dara refuses to think too hard on that while everyone she holds dear is in danger, but every time he's near that little spark of hope glows. With danger constantly 1 step ahead, they're starting to realize all the pieces are not in the table. Now that a light has been shined in some spots, what else has been a lie? I'm scared to find out...
