Grace Martin deftly employs symbolism and vivid imagery throughout "The Broken Bird Book," heightening its emotional impact. The forest, with its towering trees and dappled sunlight, represents a sanctuary where broken creatures seek solace and transformation. The use of vibrant colors, such as the golden hues of dawn or the soft blues of twilight, reflects the shifting moods and emotions of Brio's journey. Martin's skilful imagery breathes life into the tale, allowing readers to visualize the scenes and feel a connection to the characters.

Oh this was a different kind of thriller! A mysterious death of a teen has happened. Father Tonio Rinaldi has been called on to help the family and so have the polce. I really like how Chase ties in the title with this story. I especially liked that one of our primary narrators is the little sister who we can tell just worshipped her big sister, the deceased. Was this death an accident, a suicide, or was it something else? This is first book ive read by Joshlyn Chase, but i look forward to reading more of her books. Really good story! I highly recommend it.

Two samples of different books which seem intriguing, but not enough to buy.
