Harvest of the Witch is a cute quick read, cozy story. The story follows a witch named Karin, who is a Doyle witch. Karin seems to have everything someone could want: a great job, 2 kids, a wonderful husband. Karin has been mentoring another witch. She calls and informed Karin she really needs her help. At a remote mansion retreat, she finds the witch's dead body. Who killed her, and why? Karin has to find answers. Finding answers though is going to follow dark magic to see where it leads. She thought she had left fighting dark magic in her past. Not so fast!

Absolutely Perfect! I loved every word of this prequel and can't wait to read the new series! It's the perfect read leading up to Halloween and a walk back to Doyle in a way. I definitely was missing the sisters and their world and am excited for the new stories coming soon. This is Kirsten Weiss at her best!

I really enjoyed this suspenseful mystery! The characters were interesting and the interactions amongst the characters throughout the story really accented the story and brought out the suspense! I don’t normally like first person stories, but this was very well done and I enjoyed the FMC’s viewpoint and thoughts!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
