About this ebook

Martha Wells returns to her Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning, New York Times and USA Today bestselling series, The Murderbot Diaries, in Exit Strategy.

Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So, its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?

Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah—its former owner (protector? friend?)—submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.

But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue?

And what will become of it when it’s caught?

"I love Murderbot!" —Ann Leckie

After 4 books in the series I'm out. The stories are getting formulaic and repetitive, and they're priced as full books when they're more like novellas. Not good value for time nor money.

Engaging Story from a unique point of view It was Murderbot’s show all the way. The way the story was narrated by Murderbot brought in the problems with Dr. Mensa and GrayCris. The empathy displayed by Murderbot was the highlight but I enjoyed all parts of it. The way Murderbot told the story with his emotions and the action was amazing. I heard the audio story and it was very well performed. Enjoyed the short story.

Sympathetic character, but I found the writing style distracting and somewhat repetitive. The plot was quite linear, leaving its best points unexplored.
