Dieter Krimphove ist Professor für Wirtschaftsrecht und Europäisches Wirtschaftsrecht an der wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Paderborn, und gleichzeitig "Jean-Monet Professor ad personam" für Europäisches Wirtschaftsrecht sowie Gastprofessor an der Donau-Universität Krems und der Universität Straßburg. Seine Lehr- und Forschungstätigkeit besteht auf dem Gebiet des Internationalen/Europäischen Bank-, Kapitalmarkt- und Wirtschaftsrechts.
