I'm very tired so the description might not be terribly elaborate. In a nutshell the story is compelling, the writing and description and detail given to the characters kept my interest. Likewise the mystery and the unfolding of events was equally intriguing. I was exhausted when I started reading , but I couldn't stop until the story was done. I give the story a well-deserved thumbs up. Makes me want to read more of this author's material.

**Make sure you read this before Thethers! I think I would have liked this more if I had, I had a hard time getting through it just because I felt like I was going backwards, not saying it was bad at all.

I enjoy reading a diverse range of books but the supernatural genre is my
favourite. I don't know if it's just me but I struggled with this book and
just couldn't relate to the caricatures. There's to much eluding to a back
story which I'm sure will emerge in further detail in future books.
