About this ebook

What happens when a woman on the run ends up married to the richest man in Texas?

Keely O’Brien has spent the past five months on the run, but no matter what she does, she can’t seem to evade the ring of dangerous criminals that killed her brother in Chicago. When she spots an ad for a wife from the owner of a small ranch on a remote stretch of Texan desert, she knows she’s found the perfect hiding spot. The Wolf Point Ring might be searching far and wide for her, but they wouldn’t think to look in tiny, sun-scorched town of Twin Rivers, Texas. Now if she can just keep her new husband from finding out why she really married him…

Agamemnon “Wes” Westin’s feet might be firmly planted in West Texas soil, but his heart is running… Running from the loss of his first wife and stillborn daughter, and running from the fear of suffering loss again. Unfortunately, he has little choice about needing to marry, but he does have a choice about who he marries. If he has to share his roof with someone, he wants a woman who works hard and doesn’t complain. That’s why he decides to run an ad for a bride, claiming that he owns a small ranch, rather than the sprawling cattle empire he inherited from his father. After all, what woman is going to be upset when she finds out her husband is one of the richest men in Texas?

When Wes discovers Keely is hiding from criminals who want her dead, he can’t help but protect her—even if she’s irate with him for lying about the size of his ranch. When danger arrives in Twin Rivers, both Wes and Keely find themselves facing their deepest fears. Will they let their pain and past losses ruin their dreams? Or will Wes and Keely find a way to forge a new life together?

From jagged mountains and green river valleys, to cattle ranches and vivid sunsets, Tomorrow’s Constant Hope offers a meaningful story about simpler times, sincere faith, and learning to love again after loss.

This series Is a MUST read! Clean, wholesome romance I was so excited to read Wes and Keely’s story! It’s a story of trust. I absolutely love this author! Naomi is my ABSOLUTE favorite. She always writes stories that are so realistic yet full of humor, romance, struggle and triumph. I love Wes and Keely’s interaction with each other. I enjoy how the other characters from books past reappear. Also, the author is good at not writing the same story. What I mean is sometimes when I read series they will basically rewrite a book they already wrote. If that makes scene. But this book seems original yet it connects the other 2 books in the series together. I feel like I’m following the life journey of a friend. I’m absolutely looking forward to the next book in the series.

Rawlings has delivered another page-turning book in this novel. I love the descriptions of her characters and also the terrain of the desert location. Our heroine Keely McBryan is a mail-order bride traveling to Texas to marry a man who placed an ad looking for a wife, in name only. Agamemnon ‘Wes’ Westin, is the owner of a small ranch on a remote stretch of Texas desert. Or so the ad states. Keely knows she has found the perfect hiding place and she can cease her running from the ones who want her dead. Wes knows he will be safe from designing females who are trying to trap him into marriage for his wealth. He has deceived Keely and she has deceived him. What a way to start a marriage! It doesn’t take Keely long to realize she wants love and a family. Wes wants to avoid ever hurting again after losing his first wife during childbirth. He cannot risk that torture again. Keely confesses why she wanted to marry him after she learns he has a very large ranch instead of the small one. Now he has an even greater task to keep his wife safe or maybe he can seek an annulment. There is danger, suspense and many twists and turns as the story unfolds. Always a thread of hope and trust in God to lead and guide them as to what direction to take. You will love the ending to this one. I highly recommend this one to those who love Christian fiction….I was given a copy from the author but not required to leave a review.

GOD WILL DELIVER YOU Once again, in this new series, Ms. Naomi Rawlings has delivered another page-turning book, but each book can and will read well as a stand-alone. The story is a clean Christian story with Godly principles, human emotions, past troubles, new beginnings, and a future. The story is not preachy but does contain Bible passages. The story’s plot will have a mail-order bride traveling to Texas to marry a man who placed an ad looking for a wife for the owner of a small ranch on a remote stretch of Texas desert; she knows she has found the perfect hiding spot. On the run from the ruthless Wolf Point Ring of Chicago, Illinois, she believes marrying a man with a small secluded ranch will keep her safe. But, the fact is, Agamemnon ‘Wes’ Westin is one of the largest and well-known ranchers in the state of Texas. Nora O’Leary has changed her name to Keely McBryan, and has been running and hiding for months now and hoping her trip to Texas will end her hiding. Wes is over pushy mama’s trying to entrap him into marrying their daughters, and he can’t wait to marry Keely to put an end to them. “The sooner he got back to Twin Rivers, the sooner he could marry Keely McBryan. She would solve the biggest problem—the need for a wife. And he would solve hers—the need for food and a roof.” “This was the first day of the rest of her life. She was determined to make it not just a good day, but a good life.” What seemed like the answer, a marriage in name only leaves both Keely and Wes uncertain. The story has a woman fleeing for her life—fearing she will be captured, tortured, and killed like her brother and his fiancé. It will have her shocked at the small ranch, learning it is one of the largest in the state—this will never do, she needs to stay hidden. The relationship between Wes and Keely is riddled with secrets, inconsistency, doubts, and eventually leads to heartache. She wants love and a family—and he wants to avoid ever hurting again after losing his first wife during childbirth. But taking care of an abandoned baby proves to be more complicated than either one expected. “You’re too afraid of losing her to let yourself love her. Did you ever stop to that that maybe instead of trying so hard to control everything around you, you just need to step back and let God handle things?” –Charlotte The story does have the good, the bad, and the evil of people. Both Keely and Wes will face some trying moments—moments of life and death and redemption. I love how they not only quote scriptures but take them to heart. Sometimes, grief is overwhelming, as it has been for Wes, but he will learn that he isn’t in control; God is. He must learn to accept that bad things can happen to good people and that you can’t stop living, loving, and enjoying life because of it. In the end, we have no promises of tomorrow, so making the best of each day is what we should do. “I might have come to Twin Rivers as a way to escape, but this is my home now. There’s not another place in the world I’d rather be.”

About the author

Naomi Rawlings is the author of numerous historical Christian novels, including the Amazon bestselling Eagle Harbor Series. While she'd love to claim she spends her days huddled in front of her computer vigorously typing, in reality, she spends her time homeschooling, cleaning, picking up, and pretending like her house isn't in a constant state of chaos. She lives with her husband and three children in Michigan's rugged Upper Peninsula, along the southern shore of Lake Superior where they get 200 inches of snow every year, and where people still grow their own vegetables and cut down their own firewood--just like in the historical novels she writes.
