About this ebook

With the sheer strength of his muscular body, Crusader Guy de Warenne overpowered his captors and fled the hell-hole of the Syrian prison. Yet he couldn’t leave Damascus without rescuing the lovely violet-eyed “slave girl” who had saved his life by tenderly caring for his battle wounds.

She is Leila, a raven-haired English beauty kidnapped in infancy, schooled in medicine by the wealthy physician who adopted her…and trained in the sensual delights of the harem. To Leila, the Crusader is a savage barbarian who ravaged her adopted homeland and ruthlessly carried her away to serve his own purposes. Yet, even in her fury, she is drawn to this man of unexpected tenderness and awakened to a raw, sensual power that will carry them both on a tumultuous journey into adventure, danger, and love.

The plot is strong, but the love story seems weak. Other then it repeatedly being stated that the characters loved each other, there wasnt a believable build up of chemistry between them. She treated him terribly, but he fell head over heels for her anyway? I didn't get the usual "heart string pulls" with this couple.

Miriam Minger says: It's been a wonderful experience to have all my novels published as eBooks, but the greatest thrill for me as a writer is when readers take the time to let me know they enjoyed my stories...

"I have read hundreds if not thousands of books in my lifetime and not once have I ever been moved to comment on one until now. This is without a doubt one of the best books I have ever read. I laughed. I cried. I remained at the edge of my seat devouring every single word you wove with this incredible story. I just wanted to let you know how deeply this story moved me and to thank you for creating it."

Wow. This one left me speechless, and thankful. I had done my job, which is to make you feel like you've dropped feet first into a world that captures your imagination and emotions so vividly you might be living and breathing the story. And that's one of the purest joys of reading, isn't it? I know it is for me, and it is my hope to continue to write books that make you live and breathe the adventure, laugh and cry, and that touch your heart.
