I fell in love with Stage Dive in Lick and my love has continued to grow with the guys as they've grown in Play and Lead. Knowing Deep is the last of the Stage Dive novels is bittersweet. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this book, but knowing it's the last book (for now), makes me sad. I don't know what I'm going to do without a regular dose of David, Mal, Jimmy, and Ben and their lovely ladies. Deep was a surprise for me. Especially when it came to Ben and Lizzy. Having only seen glimpses of who they were from previous books through other's eyes, I was delightfully taken aback by their true personalities behind the labels like Anne's often trouble some younger sister and the strong, silent, bass player. I loved how sarcastic and fresh Lizzy was. Her inner monologues and thoughts often had me in stitches from laughing so hard. For everyone who loves Mal, and all of his craziness, I felt like Lizzy was the female version of him, but less maniacal and more grounded. I know Kylie Scott has said this is the last book in this series, and as much as I have loved being in the ladies heads, I would pay good money to read these stories from the male p.o.v.

So it 12:06 right now and I waited up till midnight just to read this book. But sadly it did not release at exactly midnight like I have been hoping so I just keep hitting my computers reset button trying to make it work. I cant wait to read this book. I love this series so much. I loved the different writing style this book takes. the story is great and I so wish there was just one more book. There will never be another series like it. GREAT BOOK!!!!

Very sad to see the series come to a close. Prior to this last book I went back and read the first three again. Even knowing what was coming the characters still had me laughing out loud all over again. Terrific series!!
