Oh my goodness! I have never read a Pride and Prejudice variation that I didn't finish until I started this book. The first several chapters are nothing but them gazing into each other's eyes having dinner making love, gazing into each other's eyes again, saying beautiful things to each other, strolling the gardens, etc etc etc. 10 pages just to describe how Elizabeth felt when she looked in his eyes! Very long drawn-out descriptions of pemberley, the grounds, the hallways and... I simply couldn't finish

Because of how poorly it was written. This author, it seems, hasnt done her revision on the characters at all. I found the whole thing completely stupid. She just wrote her own fantasy of a sequel after the darn movie... Lol and it wasn't even the best & version of p&p

It was nothing but Elizabeth and dray having sex. It got boring after the 4th chapter. Didn't get interesting till almost the end of the book then ended suddenly. I regret buying this book
