About this ebook

“Oh, holy mother of geeky heroes! You guys, this book is so delightful.” ~ Panda and Boodle

Data analyst Cassie Howard may be brilliant (and, okay, a little awkward), but she’s worked hard to get where she is. She definitely doesn’t need some sexy new analyst coming in and taking credit for her work. Or the inappropriate thoughts that keep popping out of her mouth she’d rather he not hear.

For undercover FBI agent Drew Kerrigan, computers have always made more sense than people, but he’d better develop some slick social skills in a hurry if he’s going to win over the too-tantalizing-for-his-sanity Cassie. Hacking their systems was easy. Now he’s just got to hack the one person in the company most likely to see through his ruse...

One awkward pairing ends up leading to the perfect match. The Wrong Kind of Compatible is my introduction to author Kadie Scott. She lets readers know that she's a force to be reckoned with. Not many authors can make computer hacking into an exciting story that seduces and intrigues all while laying claim to the body's most vital organ. The heart. Drew and Cassie set out to entice and do so in a way that is as fresh and mysterious as the characters themselves.

Cute, sexy, and funny in a totally geeky kind of way! I loved these characters. Cassie and the way she says whatever pops into her brain and Drew with his sexy geekness made this story so much fun to read. Drew works for the FBI and is undercover investigating the company Cassie works for in shady deals on government contracts. All the evidence points to Cassie but Drew's gut tells him she's not cut out for underhanded dealings. So now is he working to prove she's guilty or working to find who the real culprit is?? And this thing between them. Will it work out once the truth is known? This is a fun quick read that I highly recommend.

LOVED this book! This is fun, funny, and smart - all wrapped around a great story. Cassie is a very smart data analyst and used to being the smartest person in the room. Then Drew is hired and is given the same job title as hers. Cassie has not interest in sharing her role, but then Drew is in her face and too cute for words, except she keeps blurting out whatever she's thinking. I loved the characters and felt engrossed and invested in their story. Add in all the funny computer nerd jokes and their odd idiosyncrasies and you've got a great tale. This is a must read for fans of the genre. I'm adding the author to my must read authors' list and going to work my way through her back list (published under a different name). Snag this one on release day - you'll be glad you did.

About the author

Award-winning contemporary romance author, Kadie Scott, attempted to find a practical career by earning a degree in English Rhetoric(Technical Writing). However, she swiftly discovered that writing withoutimagination is not nearly as fun as writing with it.
No matter the genre, she loves to write witty, feistyheroines, sexy heroes who deserve them, and a cast of lovable characters tosurround them (and maybe get their own stories). She currently resides inAustin, Texas, with her own personal hero, her husband, and their two children, who are growing up way too fast.
