Original Story. Loved the 1st book. But by the 4th book, it's starting to drag as my experience with many stories that authors trying stretch to more than 2-3 books.Some stuff doesn't click. Main characters still loosing and don't have a clue. I'm half way through 4th book, let's see how it goes. I'm taking longer breaks between reading now as I'm getting less interested.

I've read several books written by Tia Didmon; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Shadow Shifters Series; it is the beginning of a new series. The story is about Dannika & Raine. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

What an excellent story. I love the world building. I can imagine the world Dannika lives in. Her mysterious past and unknown future were well written. She is strong yet compassionate. Raine is understanding, yet strict with his teaching of the ways of the shadow world. The chemistry between them is off the charts. He is a strong character as well. Determined and unyielding in some ways. Action packed, steamy romance and a lot of mystery/intrigue.
