About the author

Gay was born in Vancouver, B.C. and grew up in Seattle. She's been a practicing psychotherapist and life coach in Palm Desert, California for more than two decades. She has shown hundreds of clients how to reach their full potential and create the life of their dreams. At forty, she undertook her own journey of personal growth through individual therapy. The powerful shift in Gays' life inspired her to help others attain the same incredible results. Gay received her graduate degree from Antioch University while simultaneously completing a three year program at The Gestalt Institute of Santa Barbara. She has appeared on many local television shows and live newscasts, California Today.com and Coachella Valley.com. Gay created and co-hosted with her husband, the radio show, "Sixty Minutes to Change." She has published numerous articles in local and national magazines.
